The primary purpose of this blog is to offer voters (regardless of party affiliation) a place where they may report on their experiences when contacting Representative Shuler’s office by telephone or email. What was the topic of your conversation? Did you talk with a staff member, intern, Rep. Shuler? What happened? Was there any follow-up? What do you want to say about your experience?
Whether your experience was positive or negative, your post must be reported in a civil manner. Any post containing abusive language will be deleted. In other words, this is not a place to tell others what you think about Representative Shuler, but to actually report in factual terms your experiences when contacting his office(s).
So often when we talk with a legislative office we feel frustrated and think we have failed. It is hoped that this forum will allow citizens in District 11 to compare their experiences. It is also hoped that the forum will allow Rep. Shuler and his staff to see how citizens actually perceive their work.
